🥊 President’s Message
It is with great pride and honor that I extend my warm greetings to all athletes, coaches, officials, partners, and supporters of Sri Lankan boxing.

Boxing holds a proud and historic place in our nation’s sporting heritage. From its early beginnings during the colonial era to its continued growth across the island, the sport has always reflected courage, discipline, and determination. Today, we stand united in our commitment to strengthening and modernizing boxing in Sri Lanka while preserving its rich traditions.

As President, my vision is to elevate Sri Lankan boxing to greater heights at regional and international levels. We are focused on developing a strong grassroots structure, identifying young talent from every province, and creating clear pathways for athletes to reach elite competition. Our goal is to ensure that every boxer representing Sri Lanka is prepared physically, technically, and mentally to compete with confidence on the world stage.

With the valued guidance of the National Olympic Committee of Sri Lanka, the International Boxing Association, the Ministry of Sports, and the continued support of our sponsors and stakeholders, we are building a transparent, professional, and sustainable structure for the future of the sport.

Boxing is more than a competition — it is a platform that builds character, resilience, respect, and unity. These values define our athletes and our association. We are committed not only to winning medals but also to nurturing responsible citizens who carry the pride of our nation.

I assure you that our Executive Committee will continue to work with integrity, dedication, and accountability to serve the boxing community. Together, let us strengthen our foundation, empower our athletes, and proudly represent Sri Lanka on the global stage.
